Catholic Men's House in Houston Seeking Roommates
Hey friends! I'm excited to share that we're looking for roommates to join our Catholic men's house, the ST. JOSEPH HOUSE, here in the heart of Houston. We've created a space thatβs not just about sharing a home, but building a community rooted in faith and brotherhood. π
Here's what makes our place special
π A supportive and faith-driven environment where you can grow spiritually.
π Comfortable and spacious living quarters, designed for peaceful and communal living.
π Regular house activities and opportunities for community service and prayer.
π Awesome location with tons of restaurants access to local parishes, work, and leisure.
We're on the lookout for like-minded individuals who value faith, respect, Chesterton, Aquinas and Tolkein. If you or someone you know is searching for a place that feels like home, let's connect!
Letβs make this house a home filled with faith, laughter, and brotherhood. ποΈπΌ
ABOUT THE HOUSE:
It's massive... 2300 Square ft. an open floor plan in the common space. The kitchen and living room are VERY spacious and it was built in 2015 so it's in REALLY good shape (the appliances especially).
This is a 4 bedroom, so whoever moves in needs to be ok with 2-3 other dudes at any given time.
WHEN: ASAP
LOCATION: North heights/Oak Forest Park area (reach out to get the exact address)

More about the house...
THINGS INCLUDED:
4 bedrooms (This means you'll have 3 roommates)3 bathrooms2 showers and a FULL size bath (see photos... you could totally have a pool party in it... lol)Washer and dryer: YesStove: Yes, fuel type is gas (NOT those BLOODY coils)Garage: Yes, 2 cars, plus extra parking space outside2 Small patios
BONUSES:
GREAT roommates. Walking distance from Gatlin's BBQ, Sunday Press Coffee, the Local Table and some really great (and peaceful) public parksWorkout bench, heavy bands (up to 230lbs+) & 2 Powerblock dumbbells weighing 50lbs eachI'm willing to subsidize more gym equipment based on the requests of the renters (I'm thinking a barbell and a pull-up bar next)
CONS:
It's near a train track. I personally think it's soothing, but if trains bother you this might not be for you.
PRICE OF RENT: Roughly $800-$1100 depending on the room.
FLAT RATE PRICING: I charge a flat rate for rent that includes all utilities. This means that electric, gas, internet, water and trash are all included.
Pricing is based on the average rent for the surrounding area. Right now there are 3 possible bedrooms all of different sizes, so that is why the price is variable. I'm also down to negotiate price. If I can see that someone can clearly stand on their own 2 feet, but they need a bit of a break on pricing, I'm willing to negotiate.

One of your monthly rent
